Byron B.

Hello, I’m Byron. My mother told me when I was still in high school that I should be an educator, of course I didn’t listen. She was right, of course. I truly love teaching others what I know and sharing my own experiences, both in the classroom and on the road.

I served 20 years in the United States Army as a Military Policeman and Infantryman, which developed my very task oriented training mindset. This works very well with the program at the American Driving Academy. Teach what is legal and safe.

I was then fortunate to be a Federal Police Officer for 10 years, of which eight years was as the Director of Training. This included training police officers to drive safely during emergent driving conditions. I apply the defensive driving skills learned from that experience to my new drivers. Avoid accidents!

What influenced me most about working with the American Driving Academy was the superior team here and their devotion to the community. Our team does their best to add safe and knowledgeable drivers to the roadways and I’m proud to be part of that process.
