Once you have finished your workbook and have worked for thirty (30) hours, please mail or fax to us your Commercial Driving School – Student Attendance Record. This form must be signed by you and your parent/guardian. Also, you must send in your results from your online Final Exam and signed contract. Once we receive this we will mail to you an affidavit of completion (DR2956). This shows the DMV that you finished the classroom work. Upon receiving the DR2956 the parent or guardian will take their student to the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) for a written test to obtain the instruction permit or they may test in one of our offices, if we have an office in your area (Call for available written test times). Be sure to take the student’s birth certificate/social security card and/or passport when going to the DMV.

Now the fun begins! Parents will use our Behind the Wheel Manual as a guide for their student’s driving lessons. You must do a minimum of 6 hours of driving with your student before sending in the Driving Certificate of Completion for the first 6 hours of driving in order to receive the Insurance Certificate. Once we receive the 6 hours of driving certificate we will send you the insurance certificate to show that you have completed the entire program.

Please Note: In order to get your license before the age of 16 and 6 months you are required to hold your permit for one year and do 6 hours of driving with one of our driving instructors. Call for your reduced price. If you have held your permit for one year and are over 16 and 6 months of age you are not required to do the 6 hours with a driving school.
